New Heights Hockey is driven by a singular mission: to propel young hockey players to achieve their highest potential both on and off the ice. As former professionals, we understand the challenges and sacrifices it takes to make it at each level of hockey. Our focus is on providing a transformative experience that goes beyond traditional hockey development. We channel insights from the many successful coaches we've had
to instill a winning mindset, develop on-ice skills, and sharpen hockey IQ. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in every aspect of our training programs, ensuring that each player gains the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to excel in the competitive world of hockey.
Our Team

PAUL CAREY
Former NHL player and South Shore native who played at every level of elite hockey, from prep school, USHL, NCAA Division 1, to the pros. After winning two National Championships at Boston College, Paul appeared in 100+ NHL games with teams including the Colorado Avalanche, Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals, and New York Rangers. Known for his skating, play-making ability, and leadership, Paul brings a pro-level understanding of technique and preparation to every player he coaches.

BRIAN GIBBONS
Brian Gibbons is a retired NHL forward from Braintree, Massachusetts. His career was built on speed, playmaking, and relentless compete. He played in 200+ NHL games while suiting up for multiple teams including the Pittsburgh Penguins, New Jersey Devils, and Ottawa Senators. Before turning pro, Brian won two National Championships at Boston College. Brian is passionate about helping young athletes develop confidence, skill, and the work ethic required to earn opportunities and succeed at the highest level. Brian and his wife Jenny have 3 boys, one of which he coaches on the Bay State Breakers.
